How our app uses your Google account

What the app is

Rocket Growth Agency is a local-SEO agency that helps local service businesses rank higher on Google Maps and Google Search. Paying clients get access to a private client portal that shows how their business is performing month over month.

To populate that portal with accurate, real numbers, the app connects — only after you explicitly grant permission on Google's consent screen — to the Google services that hold your business's own data.

Which Google services it connects to, and why

The app requests read-only access to the following, and nothing more:

• Google Analytics (analytics.readonly) — to show how many visitors reach your website, where they come from, and which pages drive leads.
• Google Search Console (webmasters.readonly) — to show the search terms your business appears for, your impressions, clicks, and average position on Google.

Each connection maps to a section of your reporting portal. Its only purpose is to bring your own Google data into your own dashboard so you can see the results of the work we do for you.

What the app does with your data

• Reads your metrics and displays them back to you in your Rocket Growth Agency client portal and monthly reports.
• Refreshes those metrics on a schedule so your dashboard stays current.

What the app does not do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your Google data with third parties.
• We do not use your Google data for advertising.
• We do not post, edit, or delete anything on your behalf without your explicit direction — the connection is used to read and report your metrics.
• Google user data is never used to train any generalized AI/ML model.

You are in control

You grant access on Google's own consent screen, and you can revoke it at any time from your Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions) or by asking us to disconnect. Revoking access stops all future data refreshes immediately.

How your data is protected

Connections use Google's official OAuth flow. Access tokens are stored securely and used only to fetch your reporting metrics. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the information the app accesses.

Our handling of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
