How we test what we publish
When a post says we tested, it means Rocket Growth Agency did the thing, wrote down the date and the method, and says where the result stops being true.
What counts as a test
A test is something we did on a profile or website we run ourselves, usually Rocket Growth Agency's own. We write down what we did, the day we did it, and the day we looked at the result. A post that reports one carries an evidence block that lists the same things.
What every result comes with
- The date we made the change and the date we checked it.
- The method: what we changed, and where we looked.
- The limits: one business, one try, one place. A single test shows what happened to us. It does not show what always happens.
- The sources: a link to the Google page or document that backs any claim about how Google works.
What we do not claim
- We do not promise rankings, a position, or a date. Google says there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking.
- We do not say a blog post helps a business rank on Google Maps. We have no test that shows it.
- We do not report a week-to-week change in clicks as news. When there is too little data to tell a change from chance, the page says "not enough data".
- We do not publish a number we cannot trace to a record we hold.
Who writes and who checks
Posts are published by Rocket Growth Agency. We use software and AI to help draft and to run checks. From now on a post is not published until a person at Rocket Growth Agency has read it, because Google tells publishers it is critical to manually fact-check and review AI-generated content. Many older posts were built from one template before that rule, and we are reviewing them: some will be improved, and some may be removed from search.
When we get something wrong
We fix the page and add a line to the corrections log with the date, what the page said, what it says now, and why. A change to a post's date means the content really changed. A typo or a reworded sentence does not move it.
